EXAMPLES OF THE VARIETY OF WORK CREATED

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is art or painting experience needed?

Nope, but you will leave with experience and might be surprised to discover your creative side. If you do have painting experience, this will be a wonderful exercise in trying something different and stretching your skills in a fun atmosphere.

What do we provide?

We will provide all materials including paints, brushes, markmaking materials, 10” x 20” canvases, cleaning supplies, and a professional gallery artist or 2 as your guide.

Since we are BYOB or BYOF, we will provide some very basic party supplies such as small cups, appetizer plates, napkins, and utensils. If you prefer something more specific, you are free to bring your own. There will be a dedicated beverage and food table for your convenience and a medium-sized refrigerator is also available for use.

What should I bring?

Yourself, friends, colleagues, and any drinks or snacks to share with your group. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself. However, you might want to consider bringing an apron or painting smock to protect your clothing if you suspect you might be a messy painter. We will have a few aprons available if you need protection from yourself.

Can I take my painting with me after the event?

Acrylic paint dries incredibly fast unless you paint thick layers, so it should be ready to take home.

How to book a larger private party?

With groups of 8 or more people, please contact Pat Bodnyk at pat@holderdane.com or 817-488-6822. We have a larger room that can be rented for an additional fee just next door to the Gallery. We will make it happen!

Can kids participate?

Yes. Although since this event is held in a Fine Art Gallery, please keep an eye on your young ones as there are many handmade items that might be easily damaged. Guardians of children under the age of 14 will be required to sign a waiver for damaged products.

What is your cancellation policy?

Refunds are not available, however, you may reschedule your dates by contacting pat@holderdane.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled event. In the event of a class cancellation, we will notify you at least 48 hours in advance.
